How Novatra PO processing works

Last updated: 2026-10-01

Novatra configures one bounded workflow for one recurring purchase-order layout. A person on your team reviews and approves every output before it is used.

What happens first?

We discuss your workflow, confirm that the recurring PO layout fits, and agree the spreadsheet columns, critical fields and acceptance criteria in writing before any payment.

How are POs converted into rows?

Each supported PO document is processed into draft spreadsheet rows containing the agreed fields, such as line number, SKU, description, quantity and unit.

What happens when a value is unclear?

Missing or ambiguous values are flagged as exceptions. They are never guessed, inferred or substituted. A reviewer confirms them.

Who approves the output?

A named person on your team reviews the draft rows and exceptions and approves the spreadsheet. Extraction is not commercial approval.

How is the sprint tested?

Configuration and acceptance testing use up to 30 historical documents and 300 line items in total, measured against the agreed acceptance checklist.

What do we receive at handover?

A working workflow for the agreed layout, operating instructions, and the agreed spreadsheet output that fits into your existing process.
